Bill and Mary’s first child, Michael Aloysius, was born on September 2, 1901, and died the a few days later in Rio Vista.  He was named after both his grandfather and his father.  He is buried in the family plot in St. Joesph’s Cemetery in Rio Vista, but his name is not on the headstone.  The obituary below was found in the pages of Bill’s autograph book.
